| Comments: | "Juetsu" is a famous and well respected name and suiban bearing the mark
are much admired for their high quality by Japanese suiseki collectors. Toen (est. 1927), owned by Kimata Etsuji was a manufacturer of porcelain containers for plants. Pots were produced there with the technical knowledge of Kato Juho. The name "Juetsu" was established in 1961 by taking the initials of Kimata Etsuji and Kato Juho. A beautifully made suiban, in a delicious pale blue color glaze which has a translucence to it in certain lighting. The name "Juetsu" has been impressed on the underside in a seal script form.
