ABOUT ME
Some 20 years ago I became involved with Bonsai and was very fortunate to meet Peter Adams at an early stage of my interest, through Peter I was introduced to the aesthetic side of Bonsai which opened my eyes to the broader perspective of the Asian art forms. Perhaps the culmination of my love of Bonsai was being hosted by Mr. Kimura at his Bonsai garden in Japan, an experience I will treasure and never forget.
Through Bonsai came an interest in Suiseki and over the last 15 years I have been an enthusiastic collector of Japanese Suiseki and traditional Chinese Scholars' stones.

I very much enjoy traveling and have visited, in my humble opinion, the three main stone collecting countries of the Far East - Japan, China and South Korea, and whilst there have taken time to seek out stones and their collectors. This has been a major influenced on my direction and I now find myself favouring stones from these ' Motherlands ', with my collection and approach now reflecting this.

In 2001 I decided to create a small website to show my collection online, and to offer for sale some extra stones I had. The response was fantastic and encouraged me to make more available for purchase by enthusiasts visiting my website. To date I have supplied many collectors throughout the World with stones and accessories, and have enjoyed a successful interaction and meeting new enthusiasts.

Finally, the following line from a Chinese folk song expresses very well my sentiment of stone collecting.
" exquisite stones can sing you songs, if you use your heart and soul to listen "
